DJC football is designed around youth development, fair competition, discipline, and integrity. Every team works through clear registration, vetting, tagging, and match-day procedures.

The tournament structure keeps teams competing beyond the opening phase while giving visiting academies and families room to experience Diani between match commitments.

Registration requirements

Clear records protect participants and competition integrity.

Before approval

  • Accurate team and participant information submitted by the published deadline
  • Full player identity, school, NEMIS, parent or guardian, birth-certificate, and passport-photo records
  • Signed DJC participation declaration and acceptance of the official agreement
  • Attendance at official player vetting before the tournament
  • A registered coach or authorized representative responsible for conduct and compliance

What is the football registration fee?

Each registered academy player is KES 2,100. Individual football entries are KES 2,500, and DJC will place individual players with a suitable team subject to availability.

How does DJC prevent age cheating?

DJC uses birth dates, supporting documents, registration checks, official vetting, and player tags to protect fair age-group competition.

Will teams continue after the group stage?

The 2026 structure is designed so teams continue into Main, Plate, Bowl, or Drop competition after the first phase.

Can DJC help visiting teams plan their trip?

DJC can help with curated accommodation, transport planning, and the wider coastal experience. Teams may also arrange their own stay under the accommodation policy.
